3 Players of Note:
1) Darian Dziurzynski LW Brandon - Strong up and down game tonight from Dziurzynski. Not a lot a lot of flash to his game, just plays a real responsible game and has no problems going to he dirty aread of the ice. A player that gives solid depth on forward for the Wheat Kings. A real leadership type player. A solid pickup by the Wheat Kings from the Saskatoon Blades. Treded as a 20 year old. Drafted as an overage last year by Phoenix in the 5th round.
2) Hunter Shinkaruk LW Medicine Hat - He was amazing tonight. Scored on two breakaways just simply because he and Etem were faster than Brandon's defense. Such an offensive dynamo and does it with such flair. Hands of a gunslinger. And to think he is still a year away from his draft year. If he isn't careful, he might end up catching Etem in goals. He has 23 on the year now.
3) Emerson Etem RW Medicine Hat - Even though he didn't score tonight, which in itself is a rare event, he was still wheeling and dealing. His outside speed was on full display. His ability to get an edge and angle himself around defenders is unreal. He does it at will. It will be interesting to see how he pulls off this move at the pro level. I think he could still pull it off, but he may have to put some variances into it.
